How is it delivered?
The NVQ is competence based. This means that it is linked to a person's ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected to their work. As such, there is no specific timescale for achievement.

Trident assigns each candidate a personal assessor, who will deliver the qualification at the candidate's workplace. A portfolio of evidence is built up that shows how the candidate has demonstrated competence across all units over a period of time. The portfolio is passed through Trident's quality processes and Internal Verifier to ensure all requirements have been met. Candidates are also welcome to use the facilities and support available at Trident's training premises.

Trident offer e-learning opportunities through this qualification, enabling candidates to build an online portfolio of evidence. This increases the flexibility of assessments and the speed in which competence can be proved.
