How is it delivered?

The NVQ is competence based. This means that it is linked to a person's ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected to their work.

Trident assigns each candidate a personal assessor who will deliver the qualification at the candidate's workplace. A portfolio of evidence is built up that shows how the candidate has demonstrated competence across all units over a period of time. Candidates are welcome to use the facilities and support available at Tridents training premises.

Trident offer e-learning opportunities through this qualification enabling candidates to build an online portfolio of evidence, regular contact with assessor via e-mail as well as giving them access to their portfolio 24hrs a day and no more paperwork.
