Helpline Call Handler

The National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS) is looking for a Helpline Team Leader to join their team.

The successful applicant will be a customer focussed call handler able to deliver a first class response to all calls and contacts to the national NYAS Helpline, enhancing the experience of all callers to NYAS and presenting a positive image at all times in line with NYAS values and behaviours. To be able to evidence all actions by effective and accurate inputting to case recording and call handling electronic data systems.

There will be a requirement to demonstrate proven outstanding experience of working as a call handler in a pressured call centre Customer Services environment. To be proficient in MS Office and call centre equipment/ software programmes with good organisational and administrative skills.

To comply with NYAS’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, all successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure check. NYAS operates robust safe procedures to ensure the protection of the children, young people and vulnerable adults we work with.
