Check out a success story from Making Business Work!

The Making Business Work programme of free workshops for eligible companies in Liverpool, funded by the ERDF, is proving increasingly popular with Chamber members.

Phil Barnett, managing director at Immediate Impact (UK) Ltd, is amongst the beneficiaries having attended several courses.

Phil said: “I thought that the Making Business Work courses were excellent. I learned a lot about strategy and how to enhance my personal performance. I now feel that I am more qualified to manage people, and I have a far greater understanding of SEO and marketing in general. In terms of social media, I am now a lot more effective when it comes to using Twitter and Facebook.

“I feel that by attending the courses, I now have a more positive approach, and I have developed plenty of new contacts.”

The project remains open for local businesses with up to 250 employees and requires attendance at three workshops to be eligible for the associated training funding.
