Check out a success story from Making Business Work!

Northwood Southport say that the Making Business Work (MBW) programme has underlined their faith in the power of Liverpool & Sefton Chambers of Commerce.

Gary Norman, director at Northwood, takes up the story:

"After the demise of the original Sefton Chamber of Commerce, I joined Liverpool Chamber and I received an invitation to a series of business development workshops funded through the ERDF ‘Making Business Work’ programme. This was an ideal opportunity to take stock of my business as we approached our first anniversary. I was keen to take our business to the next level in terms of our social media/online presence, our customer service, and our sales technique.

"I have to say that the events were perfectly pitched, superbly run by genuine experts and hosted at the highest level by both Michael Moore (MBW Business Advisor) and Shaun Roberts (MBW Administration Officer), who gave every delegate the VIP treatment. An impressive venue at Liverpool Chamber’s offices in Old Hall Street, wonderful food and refreshments, and an excellent networking opportunity were the icing on the cake.

"Any small business owner looking to raise their game should seriously consider this outstanding package of business development support. Best of all, it’s free!”

The MBW project remains open for Merseyside businesses employing under 250 staff who have not received MBW support previously.
