In this practical and hands on session you will have the chance to reflect on what your big vision for growth is in your company in the coming 1,3, 5 years.

You will have the chance to discern how ready you are to welcome into your company the top talent whilst they study at and as they graduate from University all the while linking back to your company vision and values.

It’s an ideal session if you have been considering how to attract more students and graduates into your company culture. But you recognise that however open you are to the idea of this, you have often felt you are under prepared, under informed about what are the best ways for you to manage growing the scale of your team, whilst keeping the quality and range of work you do to the highest standards.

Topics covered

  • Creatively engaging students and graduates with your brand and company culture
  • Volunteer placements and the law
  • Paid work placements
  • Training yourself up ready for new intakes
  • How to manage the process of working with new intake – managing expectations both sides
  • Celebrating successes

Anna B. Sexton, Enterprise training manager at the Liverpool John Moores University Centre for Entrepreneurship is superbly placed to run with session as she has been running work place volunteer, intern and leadership development programmes for creative SMEs for over 20 yrs. She runs her own creative social enterprise and is a fine art alumni of LJMU.
