Liverpool Chamber of Commerce runs a wide range of networking, training and formal events. Use this handy guide to decide which ones are right for you.
Platform Lunches
Platform lunches are a great way to find out more about your fellow members. They offer active table networking where we guarantee at least five new contacts. Three companies then take the 'platform' to highlight their products and services. Attendees business cards are then put in hat to decide who presents at the next event.
As if that wasn't enough, we hold these events in some of Liverpool's finest restaurants. Recent venues have included Sapporo Tepanyaki, Osqa Bar & Restaurant, Villa Italia and the Bluecoat Chambers.

Construction and Development Lunch
Specifically aimed at the construction and development sector and lead by the Chamber's own Construction and Development Committee.
The events begin with three half-hour sessions looking at issues directly affecting the construction and property sector. This is followed by a networking lunch after which we will hear about a current or planned development in the city
The proceedings are chaired by John Sutcliffe, chair of the Construction and Development Committee. During lunch you will get the opportunity to meet with professionals from within the sector and develop those important contacts through Liverpool Chamber's facilitated table networking sessions.
We do accept bookings from non-chamber members but please note that bookings can only be accepted from companies and individuals who are in the construction and property sector.

Business After Hours
Probably the most relaxed and informal events in our calendar, they let you meet and chat with people from across the business spectrum. They are held in a range of venues around the city, often with ice-breaking themes or activities to get the conversation flowing.
If you think networking is too much like hard work, these events are for you.

Business Breakfasts - Area 0151
These special events are inspired by Area 51, the secret military airfield in Nevada.
The intense secrecy surrounding the base, the very existence of which the U.S. government barely acknowledges, has made it the subject of conspiracy theories and a central component to UFO folklore.
Liverpool too is full of secret and exclusive places that we either don't know about, or simply couldn't visit if we wanted to.
So we've made Area 0151 our own! Our business breakfasts will take us to those significant places around the city that are virtually impossible for the general public to visit. We'll also hear from business leaders with a personal view about the city and its development. Plus of course you will get the chance to network in unusual surroundings!
Definitely the most important meal of the day!

Sixty Really Useful Minutes
With no networking and no nibbles, these free, one hour practical business seminars get your Friday off to a flying start.
Held most Friday mornings at Liverpool Chamber, each event features a different speaker giving you six practical tips you can start using straight away.
From employment law to digital marketing, credit management to increased efficiency, discover a whole new way of working in sixty really useful minutes.

Members Meeting
These free events began as a way for new Chamber members to meet each other and find out what we can do for them.
But now they are open to all members, new or old, who want to refresh their relationship with us.
Businesses are invited to come along to The Novotel and find out a little about the chamber and what we do.
Of course we know that the real reason you joined us in the first place is to make new contacts and we'll help you do just that on the night.
Bring plenty of business cards with you and you may find having a pen useful too. Be prepared to get to work and have some fun. We guarantee you'll go home with a great start to building your own network.

Every April, Liverpool Chamber organises one of the corporate hospitality highlights of the year - our always popular day at the races at the world famous Grand National Festival at Aintree Racecourse.

Liverpool Chamber Annual Dinner
Our Annual Dinner is the highlight of our networking year.
The black-tie gala dinner is always held in a prestigious venue, such as St George's Hall or Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral. Guests enjoy a spectacular meal and keynote speakers who in the past have included major leaders of industry such as Sir Stuart Rose from Marks & Spencers and Mark Thompson, Director General of the BBC.

Business Growth Clubs are a great opportunity for members of both Liverpool and Knowsley Chambers to improve their business through advice from industry experts.
Workshops are delivered on a number of topics by national partners and allow delegates to learn, share best practice and experience and connect with new business contacts
