New Format For Construction Sector Lunch
4th March 2010
Our popular Construction and Development Lunch programme is back, in an all new format.
The first lunch of 2010 takes place at the BT Convention Centre on 31st March 2010 at the BT Convention Centre in Monarchs Quay.
Liverpool Chamber's Construction and Development Lunch has changed. It now has an additional seminar programme to provide additional timely and specific information to these quarterly, sector specific networking events.
John Sutcliffe, MD of Sutcliffe Projects and Chair of the Chamber's Construction and Development Committee explained: "We represent the views of Chamber members in the construction, property and professional sectors, by identifying and promoting members' issues, and give the construction sector a voice on planning and construction issues."
Commencing at 11am, the seminar part of the event comprises three workshop sessions specifically tailored for the construction sector followed by a construction sector-only networking lunch.
The event begins with a workshop on Building Designs for Counter Terrorism with Merseyside Police. This is followed by a 30 minutes session on arbitration for the construction industry led by Hill Dickinson. At noon Centre for Construction and Innovation North West are looking at Building a Better Future.
The Networking Lunch begins at 12.30pm. After lunch we will be hearing from Deborah Aydon Executive Director of the Everyman and Playhouse who will be telling us about the exciting developments at the Everyman.
