LinkedIn for Personal Brand

This practical workshop will demonstrate how to use LinkedIn effectively for the purposes of personal branding, professional networking and career development. Come along to this session if you want to:

  • Build an effective LinkedIn profile and presence
  • Know how to manage your personal identity online
  • Understand how to effectively brand yourself
  • Maximise LinkedIn for professional success
  • Develop an online professional network

This session will help you in understanding and developing a personal brand, with a focus on using LinkedIn for building a strong digital presence.

The workshops will be delivered by Gemma Dale;

Gemma is an experienced HR professional, a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, Fellow of the HEA and a regular speaker and writer on a variety of HR topics including employee engagement, flexible working and wellbeing. Gemma is the author of ‘Flexible Working’ published by Kogan Page as well as a range of e-books about HR and wellbeing. Her next book, ‘How to Work Remotely’ will be published in 2022.

Gemma is a lecturer in the Business School at Liverpool John Moores University where she teaches employment law and professional development skills. She also runs her own business, The Work Consultancy where she focuses on policy development, flexible and hybrid working and wellbeing.
