The course gives you an overview of payment methods, and describes how to request an amendment to the L/C. It will explain the roles of the parties, clarify the procedures, and recommend practical ways in which exporters can establish best practice in order to ensure payment every time.

Who should attend?

This course is a must for anyone in the export team who processes letters of credit. The course explains the process in great detail by showing examples and providing the delegates the opportunity of putting into practice what they have learnt by completing practical. The content will cover other methods of payment used in international transactions.

This course is suitable for export sales managers and administration staff.

Seminar content

It has been designed to meet British Chambers of Commerce National Trade Training Standards. Delegates can complete two assessments after the workshop; this will be used as two credits towards “The Foundation in International Trade”, you must indicate at the time of booking that you wish to complete the assessments.
