Collaborate & Connect: How academia can engage and support the Third Sector
At Liverpool Hope University we are establishing a calendar of regular networking events where we intend to reach out to regional leaders in the worlds of business, politics and social enterprise.
Our intention is to establish working relationships with local leaders and ensure that we, as a civic minded university, are responding to your needs and that, equally, you are aware of all that Liverpool Hope University has to offer in terms of research, teaching and training.
Last year we had two very successful events, one with local MPs and politicians and one with regional businesses, and we now have a blueprint for these events which we think allows maximum time for networking and building fruitful relationships.
The event on 24th May will last for approximately two hours and include breaks for lunch and refreshments. It will offer visitors the chance to meet colleagues from across the University and hear, first hand, about our research, our teaching priorities and our broader civic
