In partnership with Liverpool Chamber, Hugh Baird College are making serious efforts to align curriculum with industry need, utilising professional insights and current labour market intelligence to ensure their offer is fit for purpose and future proof.
The college have previously held stakeholder consultations with businesses in the Construction sector, and they have shaped their construction curriculum in response to the intelligence gained during those discussions. It is imperative to Hugh Baird College that the voice of employers is heard throughout course decisions, awarding bodies and projects providing a wrap around programme of the right development of skills, knowledge and behaviours. Now, the college is transforming their digital courses to better respond to the needs of the industry, and we are seeking businesses in the sector who wish to play a key role in shaping the development of young people in digital courses.
