This event focuses on the implementation of innovative digitalisation processes in advanced manufacturing. Plus, business networking for Liverpool City Region’s innovation network of advanced manufacturers, researchers and experts.

LYVA Labs is funded by the government’s Launchpad programme, to support LCR’s innovation network for advanced manufacturing and to run events that bring businesses together to learn and most importantly, connect.

The latest event in our advanced manufacturing series focuses on Digitalisation and takes place at Sci-Tech Daresbury Innovation Centre on 20th March, 9am – 1:30pm.

The event includes a tour of the VEC Hartree centre – a unique and inspiring insight into the incredible high performance computing capability that is driving change, innovation, and efficicency in manufacturing practices.

We’re bringing together leading organisations and industry professionals, building on the strengths of Liverpool City Region’s advanced manufacturing innovation network, to share knowledge on implementing digital processes that support, refine and enhance development cycles.

We will be revealing speakers in later updates, they will come from a range of back grounds including insight from SME’s, research technology organisations, industry leaders, researchers and experts.

Topic areas include:

  • Simulation: FEA, CFD, CAD
  • Sensors and digital twins: VR, AR, Predicitive analysis, in-process monitoring
  • Post analysis: Deviation analysis, CMM
  • AI regulation
  • Open mic session hosted by LYVA Labs: The session will invite attendees to stand and briefly introduce their company fostering interaction with the right connections.

This event is useful for businesses of all sizes, industry professionals, researchers and entrepreneurs, with an interest in advanced manufacturing innovation and the importance of implementing and adopting new digital processes to their working practices. Limited free places are available. The presentations will be followed by a networking lunch.
