LJMU Arts, Professional & Social Sciences Employability Showcase

Could you offer insights into a range of different employability questions we are posing to our Faculty of Arts, Professional & Social Studies academic community. On 12 June, 2023 LJMU is hosting an Employability Showcase amongst staff and selected students to share best practice around employability initiatives and as part of the day we are holding a number of round table discussions on some of our most challenging topics including helping students articulate and evidence skills and transfer them from academic and work based learning to job roles.

We are looking for external commentary within these sessions and would value a number of employers joining us to share your own experience of hiring and working with early years talent especially from LJMU.

Lunch and Networking opportunities throughout the session

We are also looking to invite employers and organisations to a quarterly working group/employer panel to help share information and ideas between sectors that recruit APSS students and our academic colleagues embedding employability in curriculum.
