A business-focused programme of sessions addressing the access to – and creation of – a talent pool within Liverpool and the wider City Region.

About this event

This session will enable business input into the creation of a positive and successful city region capable of providing talent for businesses now and in the future.

We will be platforming the newly launched ‘Be More’ website developed by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, which acts as a one stop shop for City Region residents to access job opportunities, training and insight into Liverpool’s growth sectors.

Why should I attend?

Businesses will understand the existing skills landscape and be able to articulate the key objectives and aspirations for the development of future talent through the development of higher & further education curriculum and influencing the education of children in schools.

The mini-conference will be split into two sessions with lunch served in between. The first session will look at ‘Skills for Today’ and highlight a number of initiatives taking place to help businesses recruit and retain the right talent. The second session will focus on ‘Talent for the Future’ and how education is shaping provision to meet industry need. The second session will also encompass our work with further education providers through projects such as LSIP, and highlight our work with schools through the School-Business network.
