Workshop to understand current regulations trading with Egypt

This half day training course will cover everything you need to know to be able to trade successfully with Egypt.

Why should I attend?

Effective since the 1st October 2021, exporters to Egypt now have to comply with the Advanced Cargo Information System (ACI) and submit all cargo and shipping documents through the CargoX platform.

This course will provide an overview of the agreement with Egypt, the documentation required and will provide information on ACI and CargoX.

  • Egyptian Tariff
  • The new UK Egypt trade agreement including – the Rules of Origin including:
    • Cumulation rules and countries
    • Individual product rules
    • Proof of Origin requirements
    • Product standards including information on the
    • Regulatory bodies in Egypt
    • ACI (Advanced Cargo Information)
    • How the system works and the Importer and Export requirements
    • CargoX – How the system works
    • Certificates of Origin
    • Payment Terms
