Trading with Northern Ireland from the UK involves many considerations due to the implementation of the Windsor Framework on 27 February 2023 between UK and EU.

This provides a fundamentally new set of arrangements to restore the smooth flow of trade within the UK internal market and safeguard Northern Ireland’s place in the Union. It aims to ease custom checks on goods arriving from Great Britain.

The implementation of the Framework will happen in stages through into 2025, to provide businesses with time to adapt to new arrangements. It will affect for example; VAT rates for energy saving goods, agrifood, second hand cars and more.

It’s important for businesses involved in trade between the UK and Northern Ireland to stay informed about any changes in regulations and procedures, as the situation may evolve.

This half day course will give un update on the current situation, delegates will be able to ask questions to help them in continuing to send goods with confidence.
