The University of Liverpool Management School is delighted to be hosting an event in collaboration with Bank of Greece, entitled: “Unravelling the Impact of Interest Rates in Uncertain Economic Times”
The University of Liverpool Management School will welcome Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras as he explores the topic of interest rates in a cost of living environment. Yannis Stournaras will address pressing questions such as: Will interest rates remain as they are for an extended period? When can businesses and consumers anticipate a change in interest rates?
Yannis Stournaras is the Governor of the Bank of Greece. He is also a Member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the European Central Bank. From July 2012 to June 2014, he served as Minister of Finance in Greece.
This exclusive event will be Chaired by Claire Jones, Acting US Economics Editor at The Financial Times.
Duration of the talk: 50-60 minutes followed by approximately 20 minutes audience Q&A.
