Unlock the magic of web design! Join our workshop for beginners and aspiring developers, and craft your own WordPress website. #WebDesign
Careful planning and a clear sense of purpose are the keys to success in building websites. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of web design process and development from start to finish. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some prior knowledge, we will take you on a journey through the basics and guide you towards building a WordPress website.
Firstly, we will delve into the 6 stages for developing a website and the basics of colour theory in web design. This part will help you define your goals and objectives for your site and begin to create a user-friendly layout design. This will lead to a better understanding of the basics of colour harmony which is vital in creating visually engaging websites.
Next, we will dive into the practical aspects of website building using WordPress. This part will guide you through the process of setting up your personal account. WordPress is an open-source content management system, and by the end of this part, you will learn how to use different blocks (e.g., text, media, design, widgets, and theme) and other features to build a basic website.
