Charities & Community Groups – Fire Safety Inspections



We are looking to give back to our community and support local charities, community groups and schools,  by having up to date and correct safety document in place.
This is not a ploy or a gimmick, we carried out a recent survey within Sefton area, this survey highlighted that some premises were operating without the correct documents

·      Out of date Fire Risk Assessment
·      No Fire Risk assessment
 
Additionally all properties surveyed did not have a dedicated fire door inspection report, this is a separate report to your Fire Risk Assessment which is a legal requirement have in place and to update annually.
 
KARFM Ltd have proposed to make our assessors available to carryout the inspections and issue up to date reports for just the assessor’s hourly rate, the assessment is FREE and KARFM Ltd promise not to make a penny profit, we are looking to ensure the safety of our community is of the highest priority, in most cases the costs will be less than what people spend their lunches.

Example of cost if an assessment takes 3hrs KARFM Ltd will bill you just £90 normally an assessment of this duration will be between £500 – £1500 depending on the Risk Rating, our assessors are all high risk assessors and it’s just their time that will be billed. This will represent significant savings for charities and communities to use where it is needed. Safety documents will be always zero profit with us.

We will not offer any remedial services as part of our assessment and we will not quote for any works that follow our inspection we have a policy whereby we do not generate work for ourselves, our assessments are completely independent and without prejudice. We can support you to become compliant if there are improvements identified and will happily resurvey once works have been completed. 

This offer is about giving back to areas of our community where it’s needed, fire safety is our passion and we don’t believe that the rising costs in safety should be a burden on organisations that are providing a Non-Profit service as their primary function.
