Right on our doorstep lies the remarkable South Wirral High School, a co-ed foundation school known for its specialisms in Performing Arts and Computing. Originally opened as Eastham Secondary School in 1969, South Wirral High was formed through a merger with Bromborough Secondary in the mid-80s.
Now with a thriving Sixth Form and over 1,100 pupils aged 11 to 18, the school is recognised for its dedication to quality education and community spirit. When they sought to enhance communication for a safer, more coordinated campus, they turned to SFL Mobile Radio, equipping staff with Kirisun DP405 radios for reliable, clear site-wide coverage.
The Challenge
Before their recent purchase, the school was using Motorola T82 Extreme Radios which are ideal for outdoor and recreational use. However with such a large school with many obstacles across buildings, we recommended professional, licenced radios for reliable performance throughout the day, across the whole campus.
