St Helens-based manufacturer Trojan Lighting Solutions has been recognised with two major industry honours, winning SME of the Region at the Make UK Manufacturing Awards 2025 and Manufacturing Business of the Year at the Merseyside Independent Business Awards (MIBs).
The twin accolades highlight Trojan Lighting’s growing reputation as one of the UK’s most innovative lighting manufacturers, combining technical expertise and practical, client-focussed solutions.
At the Make UK Manufacturing Awards, which took place on the 23rd October, Trojan Lighting was named SME of the Region for the North West, recognising its contribution to the region’s manufacturing strength, its focus on sustainability and its success in developing intelligent and remanufactured lighting systems.
Trojan Lighting will now go forward to represent the North West at the Make UK National Awards, to be held in January 2026 in London. The company will take part in a national judging interview in November, where finalists from across the UK will compete for the overall title.
The company also took home the Manufacturing Business of the Year award at the Merseyside Independent Business Awards 2025 on the 16th October, celebrating its growth, innovation, and commitment to regional manufacturing. The award recognises Trojan Lighting’s contribution to the local economy, its partnerships with other Merseyside businesses, and its leadership in developing low-energy, smart lighting systems that help organisations cut carbon and operating costs.
