Glow Shortlisted in third transport award this year
Following on from recent national awards shortlistings for Glow at UK Rail Industry Awards (UKRIA) and National Technology Awards, Glow has been shortlisted in two categories at the SmartRail Europe awards in Amsterdam.
The mobile app developer and web design agency which has offices in London and Liverpool has been shortlisted for its Rail Commander application and also for its My Train Journey application.
Rail Commander is a Train Staff Mobile App, combined with a Command Dashboard which allows rail teams to communicate better for increased safety and efficiency. The product arose from a successful InnovateUK & RSSB research project under the Innovation In Rail programme.
My Train Journey is a UK First, allowing train passengers to look up the historic performance for any train. The project arose from a national competition held by Rail Delivery Group, which saw Glow win the pitch against 11 developers to create the system.
