Our flagship Young Chamber school, Archbishop Blanch CE High School, are delivering their Careers Convention on Wednesday 6th February and are seeking participation from willing and able businesses to help participate, inspire and inform the students of the school about the opportunities available to them in the future.

The convention is attended by all students in the school and takes place between 8am and 2.30pm but volunteers can participate for as little or as long as they so wish – any participation is greatly appreciated.

The day features:

  • a 'Market Place' where exhibitors have stands throughout the day promoting courses, training and volunteering opportunities or just promoting what they do.
  • a 'Meet the Professionals' area where employers and partners from industry come along to meet students and discuss their career paths and organisations they work for and generally offer the benefit of their knowledge and experience in an informal setting. In this area people attend for as long or as short a period of time as they wish with all support offered welcomed and really appreciated.

Refreshments and lunch will of course be provided to all participants.

Archbishop Blanch is an outstanding school and partner of the Chamber. Their students are actively engaged in enterprise activities as they embed it within their curriculum delivery.

Please contact Joyce Youds for more details or to commit to participating.
