Sefton Sixth Form College are hosting their final Open Evening of this academic year before the 2027 September start.
Sefton Sixth Form College has recently been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, reflecting the high expectations and strong outcomes delivered for learners and making it 1 of only 2 Outstanding Sixth Form Colleges in Merseyside.
With GCSE examinations approaching and students making final decisions about their next steps, this Open Evening offers the final opportunity to tour the campus, meet tutors, explore course options, and get application support in person before enrolment activity begins.
Visitors will be able to:
- Meet subject specialists across all A-level courses
- Learn about enhancement options
- Tour learning spaces and specialist facilities
- Get advice on entry requirements, timetables, transport and student support
- Learn more about the College’s pastoral support, careers guidance and progression routes
The evening will include guided tours of Sefton Sixth Form College’s learning environment, including modern classrooms and study areas, IT and independent learning spaces, social areas, and specialist teaching rooms designed to support sixth form students as they prepare for university, apprenticeships or employment.
Deborah Faulkner, Campus Principal at Sefton Sixth Form College, said:
“Choosing where to study after Year 11 is one of the biggest decisions a young person will make. This Open Evening is the last chance before September for students and families to come in, meet the team, see the facilities and feel confident that we are the right fit. We’re here to help students find the pathway that will challenge them, support them and help them succeed.”
Julie Bass, A Personal Development Coach at Sefton, added:
“What really stands out at Sefton is the way we know our students as individuals. From day one, students have expert teaching alongside strong pastoral and academic support, so they can achieve their goals and progress with confidence. An Open Evening is the best way to see that culture in action and ask the questions that matter.”
Sefton Sixth Form College is encouraging anyone still considering their options to book as soon as possible, as places on some courses are limited and students are increasingly looking to finalise their plans ahead of results day.
