As lockdown eases, Liverpool is reopening slowly and safely. Non-essential shops will begin to open from Monday 15 June and although it’s still the Liverpool you know and love, things will be different.

Our main priority is to ensure that Liverpool city centre and your business can operate under the current self-distancing measures safely and effectively, providing reassurance and minimising concerns visitors and employees might have.

We have been working with partners on the Love Your Liverpool campaign. The core message to share with your customers and employees is:

Be Patient • Be Kind • Be Responsible • Love Your Liverpool

As part of this campaign the bespoke website has been created. You'll be able to find a useful FAQ section which addresses most of the concerns your customers and employees might have.

If there is something you think it should be included, please let us know on

The BID Street Rangers are installing social distancing signages across the BID Area to complement what is being done in the rest of the city centre ahead of Monday. Queuing areas are also being set starting from those businesses who might experience bigger issues with outdoor queues.

We have access to self-distancing signage for external queues to display on floors, windows and doors. We encourage you to download and use the newly-created Checklist for external queues and business access as well as the Essentials to get your business ready.

If you need support with queues get in touch on
