Liverpool Chamber, Growth Platform & partners discuss H & S issues

In this Zoom session, Liverpool Chamber, Growth Platform and partners invited businesses to discuss key health & safety issues with the Chairman of the HSE (Health & Safety Executive) Martin Temple and Liverpool’s Director of Public Health Matt Ashton.

Participants gained access key information and insight about the next stages of the Coronavirus pandemic to ensure businesses can restart and recover safely and productively, including:

1. The local resources available to support businesses and employees through the restart and initial recovery stage
2. The contingency plans for a local lockdown and outbreak
3. Best practice and tactics for ensuring employees are confident to return to work
4. Key guidance for businesses of how to respond to an outbreak and mitigate risks to business continuity
5. Regulatory obligations of businesses and the penalties for non-conformance

HSE specialist representatives joined the session to provide advice and insight to participants, answered questions and helped participants navigate a multitude of topics and issues.
