Call for Expert Advisors to Freshfield Animal Rescues Board

Freshfields Animal Rescue is seeking to develop a team of pro bono professional advisers to provide strategic, development and operational guidance to the Board of Trustees.

Freshfields is forty years established and its much valued integrity, the bedrock of the organisation, holds firm to this day. The Board is committed to securing the next forty years, to overcoming imminent challenges, and to developing and implementing robust plans for the future that maximise the potential of people, and of technology.

To provide emergency care for animals in peril, while inspiring and supporting people to protect animals and the natural environment.

Freshfields has two rescue centres supporting pets, farmed animals and wildlife across the North West and North Wales. We promise to never put a healthy animal down, provide practical support to pet owners in crisis and work with the public to effect positive change benefitting current and future generations.

What’s involved?
Being an advisory team member would involve some of the following: attending as a whole panel at the Liverpool rescue once a year, attending Board meetings that consider your area of expertise, providing 1-2-1 advice for senior managers, and attending special events. Advisers would ideally be comfortable with being visible on Freshfields website, social media and in traditional media.

Is this you? Can you offer expertise in one of the following areas?
• Experienced Strategic and Business planner for the third sector.
• Digital champion, able to guide on a digital strategy and its implementation.
• A Not for Profit Marketing specialist
• CRM system advisor able to provide objective advice.
• Fundraising in a specialist area other than bid writing.
• NLP Practitioner

Where
Freshfields Ince Blundell rescue, online meetings, email, phone, or occasional open days at either the Liverpool or Welsh rescue.
