At the heart of the Liverpool City Region, Merseyrail recognises that the services we offer aren’t just train journeys. They are the arteries that power the body of the City Region. They are the way young people across our community get to school and college, they are the daily commutes to work and they connect loved ones with special events. We speak with local business leaders throughout the year and they tell us that these arteries are key to driving our local economy. As part of this region and a key local employer we recognise the value of diversity and inclusion and over the last 12 months we have continued to bring this agenda alive for our teams, our communities and the industry.

Our Employee Engagement team are key to the implementation of all the activity around this agenda and have led with enthusiasm and commitment throughout the last 18 months. Employee Experience Manager, Tracey Upton is featured in the most recent issue of the Rail Technology Magazine talking about some of the great work we have all been doing together here at Merseyrail with regards to Inclusion. Please have a read of the article and if you would like to talk to us about anything you find in the article then please contact myself, Sally Ralston, Community Involvement Manager on sally@merseyrail.org. www.merseyrail.org
