Liverpool based The Webinar Vet, the largest online veterinary education provider in the world is delighted to announce the appointment of four new team members recruited in September alone, across varying roles. Despite recent and ongoing uncertainty, The Webinar Vet is rising to the challenge and expanding its team to help with an increase in demand for virtual training and, more recently, to assist with taking previously in person conferences, virtually across the globe.

Kathryn Bell, COO of The Webinar Vet, commented to the expansion: “To be able to recruit and expand the team, especially by four in such turbulent times is a real testament to the existing team at The Webinar Vet. We are leaders in the field after disrupting the industry ten years ago to become the first virtual webinar based CPD training company for the veterinary sector. Since then we have continually expanded the business including purchasing Simply Locums. Anthony Chadwick, founder of The Webinar Vet and I, along with the whole team are delighted to have such exceptional local talent join our team and to enable us to further expand globally helping us to take in person global conferences online.”

Jacqui Byrne, Client Relationship and Retention Exec

Jacqui comes to the business with a wealth of knowledge of both the Veterinary Profession and subscription model veterinary businesses, Jacqui is a Qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience of working in businesses such as Nestle Purina and Virbac, with her latest role Head of Customer Relations at Parcelpet LTD and prior to that Business Development Consultant for SimplyHealth- Veterinary Pet Health Care plans.

Stephanie Mattu, Telesales Exec

Stephanie brings a wealth of commercial and sales knowledge to the role with her previous roles being in the hospitality industry. Stephanie graduated in 2015 with a First-Class Honours Degree in Event Management and has since gained 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing selling conferences.
Stephanie has most recently been holding a post within the Hilton Hotels group as Sales Manager for conferencing and events and looks forward to transferring these skills into a new market she has been longing to join.

Steph Boyle, Project Lead

Steph studied Events Management at Manchester Metropolitan University and has worked on many events including the Manchester International festival and the Dubai air show. Previously working for the Manufacturing Institute as their Events Executive, she has worked with global manufacturers to deliver conferences and schools campaigns to encourage more young people to work in the industry. Steph also led the ‘Make It’ Event in the UAE for 5 consecutive years. Travelling to Abu Dhabi for a week at a time to train teams and deliver the event to local students.

Sophie Greatbanks, Project Lead

Sophie studied Event Management and Digital Photography at the University of Chester. While studying Sophie completed several work placements, including working as a Marketing Assistant for Creamfields Festival, Conference Assistant for Sound City Festival and Event Assistant for O2 Events. Graduating in 2015, Sophie started her events career at Meet & Potato – a live events and communications agency based in Liverpool. Her clients included companies from the healthcare and finance, automobile, beauty and retail sectors. Sophie was also part of the first team in the UK to use Magic Leap (a mixed reality experience) in the commercial vehicle sector during a Mercedes Benz roadshow. Users explored a futuristic augmented cityscape featuring robots, drones and autonomous vehicles.
