We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Export Documentation Assistant to join our dynamic team.

The Role

As an Export Documentation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting businesses across the Liverpool City Region with compliant, accurate, and timely export documentation. You will ensure that exporters receive the guidance, certifications, and documentation required to trade confidently and efficiently in global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, check, and certify export documentation, including Certificates of Origin, ATA Carnets, and other international trade documents.
  • Provide advice to businesses on export procedures, customs requirements, and international compliance.
  • Liaise with external agencies, freight forwarders, government bodies, and chamber members to ensure smooth processing of export documents.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and document integrity in accordance with Chamber and international trade standards.
  • Support the delivery of export-related services, training sessions, and member enquiries.
  • Contribute to the development of export support programmes and continuous improvement of service quality.

Skills & Experience:

  • An understanding of Certificates of Origin, Letters of Credit, and other key international trade documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital platforms.
