Businesses across Liverpool City Region are being encouraged to take part in the latest Quarterly Economic Survey (QES), helping to shape the local and national business agenda.

Run by the British Chambers of Commerce, the QES is the UK’s largest and longest-running independent survey of business sentiment. The results are used by policymakers, including the Bank of England, to inform decisions on interest rates, economic growth forecasts and wider policy development.

Why Your Response Matters

The survey helps Liverpool Chamber and its partners better understand the challenges and opportunities facing businesses across Liverpool, Knowsley and Halton. The insights gathered ensure that business support, lobbying activity and future initiatives are shaped by real experiences from organisations operating in our region.

Whether you’re experiencing growth, facing challenges, recruiting staff or trading internationally, your feedback provides valuable evidence that helps influence decision-makers at both a local and national level.

Help Us Reach 100 Responses

This quarter, we’re aiming to secure at least 100 responses across the Liverpool City Region. Reaching this target will enable us to request a dedicated regional insights report, providing a more detailed picture of local business conditions, confidence levels and priorities.

We’re particularly keen to hear from business owners, managing directors, finance directors and other senior decision-makers, including businesses involved in international trade.

The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and is open until 14 September 2026.
