Algeos Ltd

Algeos is a global manufacturer and distributor of medical products and devices, including Podiatry, Orthotics & Prosthetics, and Physiotherapy materials and equipment. Commercial Director, Max Sheridan, shared their biggest challenge throughout Brexit has been educating their customer base on the implications of Brexit, particularly around new export documentation requirements. The established manufacturers recently employed an in-house International Business Development Manager in an effort to boost sales in new and emerging markets.

As Wild Thang export and import goods, Andrew labelled Covid-19 and Brexit as the ‘perfect storm’. Their post-Brexit journey has involved an increase in staff training on export documentation and customs declaration to mitigate disruption, as well as a future plan to establish an office in Ireland.
