A&B Marketing win Liverpool John Moores University LJMU Graduate Futures contract

Liverpool-based A&B Marketing, founded in 2020, has rapidly become one of the most respected marketing agencies in the City, having won contracts over recent months with some leading regional and international brands. This includes a global recruitment agency and a large housing developer with aspirations for national growth.

Their latest new client is Liverpool John Moores University. Having won a competitive tender, the A&B team are delivering digital marketing and strategic support, working closely with the existing university project team to promote their LJMU Graduate Futures Scheme. This vital programme enables Liverpool-based small and medium-sized enterprises [SMEs] to recruit students and graduates for up to 12 months with access to recruitment support and funding.

The scheme, which the European Social Fund supports, enables students to secure post-academia roles as well as vital industry placements, and lets employers access talent in areas they need most.

The programme funds 100% or 50% of the employment costs, depending on the length of placement, so that SMEs can take advantage of experience and insight whilst reducing the financial cost to them at this challenging time post-Covid.

A&B Marketing already has a track record of planning, creating and managing digital campaigns that boost sales, brand awareness & engagement. During this 10-month retained contract, they will work closely with their university’s project team to deliver a range of activities that will make more local businesses aware of the scheme and how they can be involved.

Rian Bailey-Weir, Director at A&B Marketing, commented:

“We are delighted to be working with Liverpool John Moore’s University. With three of the A&BM team being LJMU alumni, it’s fab to give back and support Shulah and her team in delivering strategic marketing that will raise the profile of this amazing programme.

He continued:

“I set up A&B Marketing in 2020 with the ambition of helping people to navigate the mystery of marketing, and we are proving a real passion for delivering the very best marketing solutions. Our mixture of expert support, communication and care make us the perfect choice for SMEs that want us to take care of their marketing or simply support what’s already there”.

Shulah Jones, LJMU Graduate Futures Project Manager, commented:

“A&B is, without doubt, going to be a great fit for this project. Not only are members of the A&B Marketing team university alumni, but we were really impressed with their approach, experience and insight. They have quickly become a ‘marketing friend’ and an extension of the team, meaning that we can work together collaboratively to raise the profile of this vital scheme.
