World Class Events Venue Joins the Chamber

Word-class Cheshire event venue Bolesworth is delighted to become a member of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.

Bolesworth has chosen to join the Chamber to build connections with fellow members, build our profile amongst the local and regional business community and showcase our amazing events to a wider audience.

Bolesworth has unveiled its spectacular events calendar for 2022, set to be its largest to date with entertainment for everyone.

This year, owners of the prestigious estate have curated a diverse season of events for everyone to enjoy at its impressive grounds, from horse shows and outdoor film screenings to corporate events.

Ideally set in the picturesque countryside of Cheshire, the 6,500-acre estate neighbours major towns and cities in Merseyside, Manchester and North Wales and attracts visitors far and wide for its stunning views.

Traditionally world-renowned for its equestrian events which are a calendar highlight for many, more than 2,000 horses attended Bolesworth last year for the International Horse Show and Al Shia’aa Young Horse Show.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Bolesworth Castle, the events combine the glamour and excitement of a day at the races with Olympic standard facilities and exceptional sport and has gained an enviable reputation as a prestigious catalyst for luxury VIP hospitality and opportunities to make invaluable connections.

New for this year is a 1,200sqm indoor equestrian Arena with a gallery bar which can also be exclusively hired for events.

A 15,000 sq ft structure located next to the moat-side Arena is also available for corporate hire, seating up to 400 guests and offering stunning views of the Castle.

The facility offers modular room divisions for reduced capacity events with fully equipped hospitality serviced bars and additional cocktail bars upon request as well as catering, back-room storage and premium washrooms.

A range of events including an outdoor cinema and Halloween activities also promise to create unforgettable days out in a magnificent setting for all of the family to enjoy.

Later in the summer, CarFest returns to the Festival Field, featuring Richard Ashcroft, Ronan Keating and Sister Sledge, all in aid of Children in Need. To date, Bolesworth has raised £1.3m for charity through events held at the estate.

It’s not too early to think about the festive season either, as Bolesworth revealed its plans for this year’s spectacular Christmas lights show, where it will be transformed into an illuminated winter wonderland from November 25 until January 1. Tickets are on sale now.

With more than 150,000 visitors to events each year, its popularity helps to employ more than one thousand people in the Cheshire region.

Nina Barbour, managing director of Bolesworth, said:

“We are thrilled to reveal our plans for this year and are excited to welcome visitors, both new and familiar, to our wonderful grounds.

“This year will see an improved Christmas lights trail and the introduction of a summer outdoor cinema which we expect to be very popular due to our beautiful surroundings. We also expect the new Arena to be a prominent fixture for our equestrian guests.

“We also can’t wait to welcome corporations to Bolesworth who may be attending events at our facility which offers a high-end experience with stunning views.

“My father, Anthony Barbour, loved the diversity of life at Bolesworth and the opportunities it created and it continues to be a truly inspiring place through the events we hold.”

Matt Bates, managing director of events at Bolesworth, said:

“The pandemic provided us with time to think about our offering and come back this year bigger and better.

“Our events calendar for 2022 pays testament to our commitment to offer incredible and diverse events all-year round and we are really excited to welcome you all.”
