Accountancy and business advisory firm MHA Moore and Smalley has appointed a new a senior tax manager at its Liverpool office.
Michael Court will advise businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals, supporting them to manage their tax affairs, including family wealth succession planning.
It is the second senior tax appointment at MHA Moore and Smalley’s Liverpool office in as many months following the firm’s recruitment of Tony Reddin as tax partner in April.
Michael joins MHA Moore and Smalley from Jackson Stephen where he spent two years as senior tax manager. He was at Grant Thornton in Liverpool for six years prior to this.

Michael, who lives in Formby, added:

Michael is a graduate of Loughborough University and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Taxation Technicians.
When not working or spending time with his family, Michael enjoys watching sports and is also a keen runner having taken part in three marathons.
MHA Moore and Smalley’s new Liverpool office opened in 2021 and is situated in Exchange Station, Tithebarn Street.
