Award-winning builders’ merchants Sovini Trade Supplies, part of The Sovini Group, were pleased to partner with property maintenance provider Liberty on their latest community fun day.
The North-West building merchants donated generously by providing promotional items and DIY materials to the local community.
The event took place on Saturday 20th August, which marked five years since Cheshire West and Chester Council collaborated with North-West housing association For Housing to manage and maintain 5,500 quality homes.
Sovini Trade Supplies, For Housing and Liberty joined forces at Bridge Wellness Gardens in Ellesmere Port, in close proximity to Sovini Trade Supplies’ Merseyton Road branch, to celebrate this milestone. The free event featured a raffle of great prizes in which the generous donation from Sovini Trade Supplies featured, alongside live music, face painting and entertainment for all ages.
With over 350 people in attendance, the positive feedback received from the local community was welcomed, with everyone enjoying themselves throughout the day.
Bryan Tennant, Regional Director at Liberty, said:
“It was a great day supporting ForHousing in celebration of the five years working in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council. And a special thanks to all that got involved.”
Alan Evans, Director of Operations at Sovini Trade Supplies, commented:

We are pleased to collaborate using The Sovini Group’s community development fund to provide DIY materials to those who attended the event.”
