‘Tis the Season of Giving
It’s the most wonderful time of the year; the return of the Reverse Advent Calendar!
The holidays are all about giving – not just to loved ones, but to those in need.
Christmas can be a difficult time for many, especially those living on a tight budget. Many people find themselves in food crisis due to seasonal pressures and increases in bills. In the cost of living crisis, and with gas bills at an all time high, we need your support more than ever.
Can you help someone this year?
To support Knowsley Foodbank over the Christmas period, we are asking for donations over a 24 day period of items listed in the Calendar!
To get involved, pop the items into a box or bag and drop them off at Big Help Project’s warehouse by 9th December.
Or, take part in a ‘lucky draw’ with your family/friends/colleagues or classmates by cutting out the days on your calendar, put them into a hat and take turns to draw a day and food item to collect!
Collecting in December?
If Reverse Advent Calendar donations are brought in after 10th December, they may not be handed out to people in time for Christmas. However, any non-perishable food items will be given to those in need in the New Year!
PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE MOVED TO A NEW ADDRESS AND ARE NO LONGER COLLECTING AT LINK ROAD.
We sadly can’t accept mince pies or alcohol!
