London, October 2022 – Liverpool agency, Connect and the North West Air Ambulance Charity were big winners at the 2022 Digital Impact Awards for their work on the charity’s new website. The project walked away with two awards: Gold in the Best Corporate Website and Highly Commended in the Best Use of Digital by Sector (NFP, NGO or Charity). Connect was commissioned by the charity to design, build and host their new website, a vital element of their awareness and fundraising mission.
The North West Air Ambulance Charity’s helicopters and vehicles operate 365 days a year. Highly skilled specialist doctors and HEMS paramedics are on board, providing enhanced pre-hospital care and hospital transfers to patients across the entire North West region each year – an area covering 5,500 square miles and over 8 million people.
