North West Cancer Research cycle of hope

Join us on a day long cycle around Lancashire and Merseyside and help stop cancer in its tracks!

Join #TeamNWCR for a one-day cycling adventure as we circle Lancashire and Merseyside to support life-saving research in our region.

We’re hopping on our bikes once again for Cycle of Hope 2023.

Our journey starts in Southport before we travel South East and then North, completing a loop of beautiful countryside terrain in both Merseyside and Lancashire.

We’ll have two routes available; a 60km for our beginner and intermediate cyclists and a 60 mile route for the more experienced.

Route 1 – 60km
Best suited for beginners, you can take this 60km at your own pace and appreciate the scenery along the way. Cross canals, take on winding country roads and see the sights from the top of Parbold Hill. Perfect for those who haven’t been on a bike in years or new, eager cyclists.

Route 2 – 60 miles
Our longer route is perfect for more experienced cyclists or those up for a bit of a challenge. You’ll start your adventure on our 60km route before stretching further east, taking in the stunning landscapes at Rivington Pike and exploring picturesque Lancashire villages as you push to the finish line.

We’ll see you at the finish line to collect your medal and celebrate!

Start and Finish point: Southport Rugby Club, Waterloo Rd, Southport, PR8 4QW

Free cycle top for anyone who raises over £100!
