PR and Marketing Agency press ‘play’ on new podcast to showcase dynamic change-makers in the Liverpool City Region
Wednesday 26th April: Tuesday Media, the Liverpool-based PR and Marketing agency, has officially launched a new podcast to showcase positive stories from across the Liverpool City Region. People of the ‘Pool is billed as “the platform for celebrating dynamic changemakers who are re-setting the narrative about what this city is and can be.”
Tuesday Media is a Liverpool-based PR and Marketing agency specialising in telling the stories of positive changemakers. The launch of the podcast marks an exciting chapter for the agency as it celebrates its fifth year in business. Initially founded in Brighton in January 2018, the agency relocated to its new home during the pandemic when founder Sophie Wilson suffered from a protracted recovery from Long COVID. She used her background in campaigning and media to raise awareness of the condition, including making a feature-length documentary for BBC Radio Wales and an award-winning film about her struggle for Huffington Post.
In a return to broadcast journalism, Sophie takes to the mic again, this time to interview a series of inspirational people from across the Liverpool city region.
Sophie says
“We’re known for our music, for our culture, tourism and of course football, but what’s caught my eye since moving back from down south is the innovation and entrepreneurship that’s happening in the city region and this podcast is about championing just that. I can’t wait to share the stories of these inspirational changemakers with listeners in Liverpool and beyond.”
Series 1 features a diverse selection of ‘Community Builders’ from across the Liverpool City Region, including several of Tuesday’s clients. Guests include C-Suite figureheads from Rockpoint Leisure, Merseymade, K2 Architects, Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, Wellness in the City, Startup Grind, MOVE, The Reader, Baltic Creative CiC, Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre and The Brain Charity. The first three episodes are now available to listen to and download, with each subsequent episode being released every Tuesday.
There will also be a Eurovision special launched on Tuesday 9th May, featuring Susan Finnegan, Commercial Director & Head of Eurovision Liverpool 2023 Host City Visitor Experience, Culture Liverpool.
The podcast was produced in collaboration with Steve Austins, Founder of Bengo Media and former Head of BBC Radio Wales, produced by Rachel Johnston of Tuesday Media and recorded and filmed in 4k at Liverpool Podcast Studios.
