E-Sign, Liverpool based eSignature and secure digital document company, has gained Cyber Essentials Plus Certification.

Cyber Essentials is the UK Government backed scheme that certifies that an organisations defence will protect against a wide variety of the most common cyber-attacks. These attacks are looking for targets who do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.

Cyber Essentials Plus is an expansion on the Cyber Essentials Verified Self-Assessment, which includes an audit of an organisations IT systems, to confirm that all security controls that have been declared in Cyber Essentials are implemented on the organisations network.

Adam Ross, Director of Operations at E-Sign said:

“We are very pleased to have achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification. This demonstrates that E-Sign has robust and secure IT systems in place to provide a higher level of assurance to our customers.

The certification will allow us to expand and grow our business into sensitive markets in which the certification is a mandatory requirement for service providers.

With the rapidly growing digitisation of document management and cloud-based solutions, the need for highly secure providers and solutions has never been more important.”

The certification builds on E-Sign’s award-winning work and commitment to providing highly secure solutions to businesses and organisations across the UK and ensuring the highest levels of security both internally and for clients.

As well as being Cyber Essentials Plus certified, E-Sign is also ISO 27001 accredited and is the only eSignature provider on the Public Service Network, the UK Government’s high security network, meeting strict security and regulatory requirements.
