Tough Mudder for the brother!

Last year, Jack, a healthy 23 year old with no pre-existing medical conditions suffered a spontaneous pneumothorax (the sudden onset of a collapsed lung without any apparent cause).

This meant Jack was suffering from very frightening symptoms of intense and sudden chest pain and severe shortness of breath. A collapsed lung if not treated quickly can be a life-threatening event. Thankfully though, this wasn’t the case for Jack after he was rushed to Liverpool Heart and Chest hospital and received the urgent treatment he needed.

After a wonderfully successful recovery, Jack’s sisters Lucy and Alice decided they want to give back to LHCH for the care their brother received. So, what better way to show your appreciation than plunging into ice baths and crawling through mud by taking on the LHCH Charity Tough Mudder challenge!

We’re wishing the fantastic duo the best of luck and are saying a huge thank you for their much-appreciated support.

If you fancy helping the sisters hit their fundraising target, simply follow the link to donate today – https://shorturl.at/bhkLR or why not join the daring double act and take on the challenge yourself – https://www.lhchcharity.org.uk/toughmudder2024lhch.

Do you think that your team can be as tough as they are??
