DLA Piper’s newest North West partners


DLA Piper announces two partner promotions in the North West. Andrew Walker and David Booth join the partnership as of 1 May 2024 in the firm’s annual promotion round.

Andrew and David have shown great tenacity and drive day to day, consistently helping our clients achieve their boldest ambitions often in the face of industry and global economic shifts.

Andrew is an experienced real estate lawyer who provides seamless business advice on all aspects of commercial property transactions including investment, development, financing and landlord and tenant matters. Andrew enables his clients to achieve their aspirations and scales them, when necessary, using DLA Piper’s international platform. He partners with international private equity backed investors, institutional UK based pension funds, major developers and mainstream and alternative lenders, serving them locally and beyond.

David has over a decade of legal experience in providing pragmatic and commercial legal advice in technology and commercial transactions across a broad range of sectors, including technology, manufacturing, telecoms, and financial services. He translates legal complexities into commercial clarity and delivers pragmatic actionable solutions to help the firm’s clients achieve their objectives wherever they do business. David plays a pivotal role in supporting the national and international leadership of DLA Piper’s Technology, Industrials and Financial Services groups, and is a leading member of DLA Piper’s approach to artificial intelligence both nationally and internationally.
