THE SOUTHPORT BIG ONION is aimed at engaging local adults in a variety of learning, training and development programmes. The initiative is about working together, creating opportunities and investing in a wide range of activities and services that improve quality of life.

The mission of the hub is to reach out and engage local people, sometimes vulnerable, isolated and hardest to help. We want to provide a safe, welcoming space where they can participate in activities that encourage learning, build confidence and create connections. By offering tailored programmes in a supportive environment, we hope to empower individuals, reduce isolation and improve overall well-being.

We are fortunate to be operating from one of the two fabulous pavilions on Lord Street. This not only allows us to support local residents but helps in preserving a well-known landmark building. With a mountain of passion, creativity, care and community spirit we hope to turn this space into something very special.

It would be fantastic to welcome The Chamber and members to our launch on the 23rd October between 5.00 and 8.00p.m.
