New products to further strengthen market-leading proposition for employers.
Medicash, the UK’s leading provider of corporate health cash plans, has delivered an outstanding performance in 2025, achieving strong growth across customer numbers, financial results and social impact, while accelerating its strategy to reach one million policyholders by 2030.
During the year, Medicash increased its policyholder base by 55,000 to 696,000, reflecting sustained demand from employers for accessible, affordable healthcare solutions that support workforce wellbeing.
Financial performance was equally strong. Technical income grew by 14% to £70.9 million, while technical surplus more than doubled to £3.8 million. Investment returns increased to £4.5 million and group reserves rose by 12% to £59.8 million, further strengthening the organisation’s financial platform and enabling continued investment in innovation and growth.
Alongside this commercial success, Medicash continued to expand its social impact. Through the Medicash Foundation, more than £400,000 was donated during the year, supporting over 140,000 people in communities across the UK.
Building on this momentum, Medicash will introduce a range of new services, available at no additional cost to existing customers, alongside the launch of an innovative new wellbeing product. Further details will be announced in early May. These developments are designed to strengthen its competitive position, enhance its preventative health proposition and deliver even greater value to employers and their people.
The organisation’s ambition is to support one million customers by 2030, alongside a commitment to increase annual charitable giving to at least £750,000 through the Medicash Foundation.
