Never Bee Hungry: Help Fill the Holiday Hunger Gap
This August, we’re asking hospitality venues across Liverpool City Region to help ensure no young person goes hungry during the school holidays. For many local children and young people, the free school meal they receive during term time is their only guaranteed hot meal of the day. When schools close for summer, that support disappears.
Just £1 can provide a young person with a hot, healthy meal at The Hive, helping to fill the holiday hunger gap. For some young people, it may be the only hot meal they have that day.
With Birkenhead among the most deprived communities in the country, too many families are struggling with the rising cost of living. By inviting your customers to donate just £1 by adding it to their bill, your business can make a real difference to young people in our community
