Grants for Voluntary and Community Sector
In August 2016 we started a £1m programme to tackle unemployment in the Liverpool City Region - The ESF Community Grants Programme.
The funds from the government’s Skills Funding Agency in partnership with Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, were awarded to the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA).
The programme aims to enhance capacity within Liverpool City Region’s Voluntary and Community Sector, helping City Region’s residents meet their economic potential and contribute to social inclusion and tackle unemployment by moving participants closer to employment.
Applications to Round 1 and Round 2 of this programme have now closed, with grants being awarded to 39 local organisations, Round 3 is now open.
Grants are available for a minimum of £5,000 and a maximum of £10,000. Eligible organisations will be able to apply for Round 3 Community Grant funding until Mon 15th May 2017.
Organisations can access the application form via http://nw.weanorthwest.webfactional.com/esf_grants. If your organisation is eligible then please feel free to apply, but can you also share this with any organisations in your network that you think may be interested in this opportunity.
