Liverpool Chamber of Commerce delivers a number of courses that are accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), and other standalone courses.
BCC Accredited courses form part of a new initiative which Liverpool Chamber and the BCC are involved in. At the end of each session, delegates will be given a series of revision exercises to complete. These will then be assessed and candidates achieving Pass or Merit in any of the courses will receive a uniquely numbered certificate in each area. Upon completion of six courses, delegates will achieve a nationally recognised Foundation Award in International Trade.
BCC Accredited course topics include:
- Understanding exporting
- Export Documentation
- Methods of payment
- Documentary letters of credit
- Import procedures
- Customs audits and procedures
- Agents and distributors
- Inward and outward processing
- Preference origin rules explained
Courses are held throughout the year at Liverpool Chamber.
