We asked some of our local operators what steps they are taking as more passengers gradually return to the network.

Howard Farrell, Managing Director, Arriva Merseyside, explained: Throughout the COVID19 crisis, our focus has always been on ensuring the safety of our customers and our staff and this remains our key priority. In line with government guidance, social distancing and reduced capacity limits are still in place on board our buses, and we’re still encouraging customers to pay with contactless and to wear face coverings when travelling with us, all of this advice supports the government guidance for public transport journeys. We’ve increased some of our service frequencies this month, knowing more people would want to travel by bus from 12th April especially, as non-essential retail opened up again. We’re here to ensure our customers get to where they want to go, as safely as possible!” Check here for more details of revised services with all revised timetables available to view and download at www.arrivabus.co.uk/coronavirus-timetable-information
